Abstract: As a traditional Antarctic state, the United Kingdom has a long history in its participation in Antarctic governance, which turned out fruitful. Since Britain made the territorial claim in the Antarctic Pole in 1908, it constantly enforced its institutional supply ability through active participation in various stages of shaping Antarctic governance mechanism and improving the legal systems and regulations of domestic participation in Antarctic governance. Antarctic governance system supply has become a critical platform for Britain to realize its national interests in the Antarctic Pole. The paper intends to expound on the British practices in Antarctic governance from the prospective of system supply and gain enlightenment from its act on the current China's participation in Antarctic governance.
