Abstract:
As organizations become more flattened, employee self-management becomes a trend. Moreover, employee performance is largely influenced by their self-management performance. Therefore, to improve employee self-management performance is critical. Data from 380 sets of supervisor-subordinate questionnaires of the R&D departments in 10 high-tech enterprises were collected,and we used conditional process modeling to baild a moderated mediation model. The result found that servant leadership was positively related to em ployee self-mana gement Performance;job burnout mediated the relationship between servant leadership and employee self-management performance; leader political skill moderated the relationship between servant leadership and employees' job burnout. Servant leadership is more negatively related to employees' job burnout when leader political skill is high rather than low.
