Abstract:
Disregard behavior and destructive behavior were reorganized in this study to put forward the concept of undesired environmental behavior, then we distinguished three types of undesired environmental behavior, including spontaneous, followed and defensive and explored their presentation format. Given the relationship between behaviors and individual psychological preference or concerns, the influence of regulatory focus on undesired environmental behavior was analyzed in further. According to 474 data from undergraduates, the findings indicated that the overall incidence rate of individual environmental behavior was 50.5%,characterizing with high incidence, among which, the incidence rate of spontaneous undesired environmental behavior had the highest proportion of 32.9%; the incidence rate of normal undesired environmental behavior(the score was greater than or equal to 4) was 21.0%,with the incidence rate of defensive undesired environmental behavior accounting for 46.3%; the prevention focus had negative prediction effect on undesired environmental behavior, while the promotion focus had negative prediction effect on followed undesired environmental behavior; it was the easiest for individuals whose regulatory focus was double-low to perform undesired environmental behavior, characterizing with the phenomenon of "tail up". Based on this, from the perspective of behavior motivation, relevant recommendations were put forward combing the influence of regulatory focus on undesired environmental behavior.
