Abstract:
The traditional mass media is falling, and media people are suffering a great impact. Focusing on the expression of media people is a good way to learn their value construction strategy. Results show that media people are aware of the impact on their identity from value "disorder" on the one hand. On the other hand, they use Professional, Ideal and Mythological discourses to advocate Ideality, Belief and Fairness to differentiate themselves from common people. However, things have changed, and although the Ideality of journalistic professionalism and the Cultural Gene from scholars commenting on politics can differentiate media people from others, few people will agree with them. In the circumstance of perfect competition of media market and the dissemination of content fragmentation, checking and integrating information and opinion demonstrates professionalism and can bring about a sense of existence.
