空间集聚对制造业出口的非线性影响及其异质性分析基于规模效应与拥挤效应视角

    Analysis of the Nonlinear Impact of Spatial Agglomeration on Manufacturing Exports and Its HeterogeneityBased on the Perspective of Scale Effect and Crowding Effect

    • 摘要: 伴随着工业化进程的不断加快,中国制造业空间集聚程度不断深化,深刻影响了中国制造业对外贸易格局。基于“规模效应”与“拥挤效应”的视角,运用2003—2016年30个省份的面板数据,对空间集聚影响制造业出口的影响效应与影响方向、行业与地区异质性进行了分析与验证,研究结果表明:(1)空间集聚对于制造业出口的影响取决于“规模效应”与“拥挤效应”之间的权衡,二者之间存在显著的“倒U形”关系。(2)空间集聚程度的不断加深不仅能够扩大出口规模,同时能够在一定程度上优化制造业出口结构。(3)空间集聚对制造业出口影响的“拥挤效应”已经开始显现,且“拥挤效应”在东部地区最为明显。

       

      Abstract: The acceleration of the industrialization process continuously drives the deepening of the spatial agglomeration of China's manufacturing industry, and has a profound impact on the foreign trade pattern of China's manufacturing industry. Based on the perspective of “scale effect” and “crowding effect”, this paper uses the panel data of 30 provinces from 2003 to 2016 to analyze and verify the influence effect, influence direction, industry and regional heterogeneity of spatial agglomeration on manufacturing export. The results show that: (1) The impact of spatial agglomeration on manufacturing export depends on the trade-off between “scale effect” and “crowding effect”, and there is a significant “inverted U” relationship between them. (2) The deepening of spatial agglomeration can not only expand the export scale, but also optimize the export structure of manufacturing industry to a certain extent. (3) The “crowding effect” of spatial agglomeration on manufacturing export has begun to appear, and the “crowding effect” is the most obvious in the eastern region.
