Abstract: Independence is an important historical experience formed by the CPC leading the people in the journey of 100 years’ struggle. The formation of the CPC’s independent experience has a profound theoretical origin and practical foundation. The gene of independence in Chinese traditional culture and Marxist classical writers’ assertions on independence are identical, constituting the theoretical basis for the formation of the experience of independence of the Communist Party of China. The centennial historical practice of the Communist Party of China in exploring the road of victory of the Chinese revolution, the road of socialist construction, the correct road of reform and opening up and the road of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation constitute the practical basis of its generation and development. To enrich and develop the experience of independence in the practice of the new era, we should consistently implement independence throughout the great cause of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, adhere to independence, pay attention to learning from foreign useful experience, and promote the international sharing of the experience of the principle of independence.
