制造业集聚与雾霾:基于能源消费的异质性分析

    Manufacturing Agglomeration and Haze: Heterogeneity Analysis based on Energy Consumption

    • 摘要: 基于2004—2016年中国城市面板数据,引入时变工具变量,细致探讨了制造业集聚对雾霾污染的影响及其作用机制,并基于能源消费展开异质性分析。研究结果表明:制造业集聚通过技术进步抑制了雾霾污染,异质性分析表明,以专利表征技术进步的作用机制,在低能耗地区显著存在,且作用效果更强,而在高能耗地区该机制并不显现;空间效应分析表明,雾霾污染具有空间上的溢出效应和时间上的滞后效应。

       

      Abstract: Based on the panel data of Chinese cities from 2004 to 2016, the instrumental variable was constructed to identify the impact of manufacturing agglomeration on haze pollution, and analyze the heterogeneity of its mechanism based on energy consumption. The results show that manufacturing agglomeration inhibits the increase of haze pollution through technological progress. The heterogeneity analysis shows that the mechanism of measuring technological progress by patent was more significant in low energy consumption areas, but not significant in high energy consumption areas. Spatial effect analysis shows that haze pollution has spatial spillover effect and time lag effect.
