Abstract: Entering the era of digital capitalism, the maximum synergy between technology and capital has pushed people into a digital survival situation. Digital technology has penetrated and infiltrated various aspects of social life to the fullest extent, changing people’s labor processes, consumption patterns, and communication paradigms to the greatest extent. The use of technology by capital and the collusion between technology and capital have given rise to the dark side and alienation of technology, resulting in the exploitation cycle of labor processes, the false overflow of consumer demand, and the virtual generalization of social interactions, placing human society in a dilemma of technical dependence and digital survival. To resolve the dilemma of technological alienation and the survival of ultra-high technology, it is necessary to deeply examine the phenomenon of technological alienation in the era of digital capitalism, abolish capitalist private ownership, dismantle and break the capital’s use of technology and the marriage between technology and capital, reshape the free labor process, normalize consumer demand orientation, and return to the true essence of social interaction, so as to make technology serve the direction of human liberation and free and comprehensive development.
