Abstract:
Entering the digital and AI age, all labor skills of human accumulated in their individual experience are facing the crisis of being replaced by technology. From Marx’s view on machines, the crisis of labor skills is essentially not caused by machines but by the necessity for individuals to innovate their labor forms through technical objects as medium. The need of synergistically possessing technological development achievements will lead people from the traditional labor form which is enclosed, isolated and detailed to the new labor form which is open, social and all-round-development-oriented. The creative transformation of individual labor skills is not only a necessary link for human’s all-round development but also an important cornerstone for us to build a digital and AI technology governance model with Chinese characteristics. This requires not only laborers’ active improvement of their technological praxis abilities, but also the creation of a social cultural atmosphere, the support of the education system and the guidance of national policies and regulations.
