Abstract:
This study constructs a logical chain of ‘digital platform entrepreneurship→inter-organizational trust→innovation ecosystem health’, and analyzes the regulating mechanism of business environment based on the theory of high-order echelon theory, social network theory and institutional theory. The empirical test and robust analysis are carried out through 336 questionnaires. The results of the study show that: firstly, the two dimensions of digital platforms entrepreneurship - innovation spirit and social and national sentiment have a significant positive impact on the health of innovation ecosystem; secondly, inter-organizational trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between the digital platforms entrepreneurship and the health of innovation ecosystems; third, the business environment positively moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial innovation spirit and inter-organizational trust on digital platforms, as well as positively moderates the relationship between social and national sentiment and affective trust, but there is no significant moderating mechanism for cognitive trust.
