影响外语语法教学的三对关系

    The Three pairs of the Relationships Affecting the Grammar Teaching of a Foreign Language

    • 摘要: 由于受结构派和功能派影响, 语法在我国外语教学中经历了从“过分强调”到“倍受冷落”两种不同的境地, 如何客观辩证地看待语法在外语教学中的地位和作用, 以便使外语教学更有效一直是个没有很好解决的问题。本文结合教学理论和实践从语法教学与教学对象, 语法教学与教学目的, 语法教学与课型三对关系探讨了语法教学的不同地位和作用, 指出要提高外语教学的效率必须重视在语法教学上区别对待不同的教学对象、教学目的和课型, 并就此提出了一些具体建议。

       

      Abstract: Owing to the influence of Structuralism and Functionism, grammar teaching in China went through the "Two extreme treatment", either excessive emphasis or excessive ignorance. It still seems in question wherher the importance of determining a proper position and function of grammar should be laid for a better teaching effect. This paper, from the perspective of theory and practice, discusses the three pairs of relationships in grammar teaching: grammar teaching and subjects of the teaching, grammar teaching and teaching aims, grammar teaching and the types of courses, and clarifies the various relevant positions and functions, and then points out that to improve foreign language teaching, various means should be employed to deal with elements related to grammar teaching.
