Abstract: Yongdeng, a county with a long history, is a door to the area along the bank of the Yellow River. Throughout the history, the Hans in Yongdeng have been residing with such minority groups as the Tibetan, Mongolian, Manchu and Hui, and a particular dialect has been thus formed. This article attempts to discuss and analyze the phenomenon of minority language in the local Chinese dialect.
