Abstract: Based on the theory of mental health of western humanism psychologists,the paper introduces the content of mental health and analyses the theory to demonstrate the instructional function for mental health education in universities.It also provides sugges-tions on the basis of analysis of the mental status of current university students and of existing problems in such education.
