Abstract: Qian Jin Prescriptions and Qia n Jin Yi Fang by Sun Simiao in the Tang Dynasty are recognized as famous works of Chinese traditional medical science.There are in the two books some foreign medi cal knowledge,one of which is Jivaka that embodies the ancient Indian medical sc ience.The Chinese version of the valuable Indian medical works has greatly influ enced ancient Chinese medical culture.This paper analyses some of the introduced prescriptions of Jivaka' s for the description of the influence brought about b y Jivaka prescription.
