Abstract: The teaching of Chinese language and literature for undergraduates plays an important role not only in developing the students' ability of reading, writing, and literary appreciation but also in cultivating their spirit of innovation. The positive interaction of the teacher and the students in the teaching activity can certainly make the teaching workable in the cultivation of the students' innovation.
