Abstract: On the basis of the analysis o f the relationship between the origin of option theory and the real and finance op -tions,the paper discusses the meaning of real option theory and its function,a nd further make a classification of real op-tion.At last from the two aspects:p redicting of the future and establishing real option by the means of platform in vestment,the application of real option in the investment strategy of enterprise s have been expounded.
