Abstract: Recently Chinese network literature has developed quickly and has a strongly promising future. As a new literary form, the network literature has its unique features different from the conventional literature in paper-printing form. The features are as follows:1) In the creative idea, it pursues an extreme entertainment and the catharsis of individual passions; 2) in the creative process, it pursues the mutuality, high efficiency and freedom; 3)in the content, it is mainly about the life of network people and individual feelings; 4)in the creative form, it emphasizes super linkages and multimedia technology; 5)in the language, it uses a lot of brief, flexible, net-styled signs; 6)the writers are non-professional, young, and anonymous. Thus this paper points out that network literature and its features should be paid much attention to.
