Abstract: This paper discusses some problems about the strategies of Chinese petroleum source. It argues that in the light of the present/ future situation of international politics and economy as well as the increasing petroleum needs for the national economic development,China ought to set up a set of national security strategies of petroleum resource and quicken the construction of the base of petroleum energy storage in order to secure the protection of the present/long-term national benefits.
