Abstract:
The various educational assessment systems in America, Britain and Japan serve as enlightenment for the construction and perfection of education assessment system in China. This article uses the advantages and experiences of foreign education assessment systems as reference and points out that education assessment system in China should be carried out by assessment organizations in the society, teaching quality and research quality in higher education institutions should be assessed separately, discipline development should be the main content of assessment and assessment standards should embody the independence of higher education institutions. The current situations and development of higher education assessment in China are also analyzed.
