Abstract: The formation and stance of cultural supremacy theory in western cultural imperialism are quite complicated. Among the relevant theories on cultural imperialism in this article, Edward W. Said's Orientalism and Postcolonial cultural criticism criticizes and negates cultural imperialism, while Thomson cultural imperialism theory, Samuel P. Huntington's clash civilization theory and Francis Fukuyama's The End of History in secret support the cultural supremacy views in western cultural imperialism.
