Abstract: Chinese contemporary feminist fiction has fallen into a plight, which is represented by the blurred definition and such foundational questions as what to write, how to write and write in what language. At the same time, feminist fiction has achieved a lot in the process of making breakthrough. The process of plunge and breakthrough is still repeating, and it will undoubtedly continue to repeat. A systematic retrospect of this academic process is of great significance to the creation and criticism of feminist fiction in the future.
