International economy and business activities must be carried out by means of cross-cultural communication. However, cross-cultural communication, to a large extent, comes across barriers from people of different cultures due to such different cultural factors as language, thinking mode, value, law, and custom. To communicate effectively with people from different cultures, those who engage themselves in international economy and business should choose appropriate communication channels and overcome the cultural barriers, and also manage to enhance mutual understanding. This way, cross-cultural communication activities can be carried out effectively and international economy and business activities can be carried out smoothly.
