Abstract: Export-Processing District is the special district open to the outside world, whose establishment is based on the experiences and lessons gained from the tax protection district since the Reform and Opening Up policy. This paper states the features of the Export-Processing District, and through summarizing the experience of construction and operation in the experimental sites in the last four years, it analyses the main problems existing in the experimental sites and the related causes and solutions.
