Abstract:
This paper is an analysis of the interview with students on self-revealing. Object: with a structural method of interview, 85 students have been interviewed and their awareness of self-revealing have been examined. Result: students generally value the role of self-revealing, which can promote communication yet display some weakness. The individual features of the opposite side or addressee are important factors of self-revealing. Boys tend to reveal less, because they are worried about the negative evaluation while girls emphasize the appropriateness.
