Abstract: The issue of the salary and welfare of national public servants is one of the significant components of the national public servant institution. Since the 19th century, France has gradually formed a relatively mature national public servant institution that is characterized as some features different from those of other European countries in welfare and pension. The understanding of the basic institution of France national public servant can provide some revelation on the relevant system reformation of China's national public servant institutions.
