Abstract: Nowadays, more and more companies have established business strategic alliances to compete in a global changing environment and benefited greatly. However, according to management literature, about half of the alliances established turned out to be failures. One of the key factors for this failure is the choice of a wrong partner. This article explicates the process, principles and method in selecting alliance partners.
