A Cultural Explanation of the Linguistic Turn,with Frederic Jameson's Cultural Demarcation Theory as a Logical Clue

摘要: 西方20世纪以来的“语言论转向”绝不是一个偶然的现象,语言的变化背后蕴藏着深刻的文化学内涵。杰姆逊关于资本主义文化分期的思想,揭示了资本主义文化发展在不同阶段的内在逻辑,也为考察西方语言论转向的文化学内涵提供了很好的参照系。语言论作为资本主义文化的一部分,其发展变化正体现了资本主义文化发展基本规律。

Abstract: Since the beginning of the 20th century,"the linguistic turn" has become phenomenally popular in western art and philosophy,but why such a turn at the beginning of the 20th century?What are the cultural connotations behind such a turn?These issues have not been fully explored,and this paper attempts to investigate with Frederic Jameson's interpretation theory on the cultural dynamics of capitalism and to reveal the cultural pattern of capitalism.
