Abstract: Information culture comes into being as a new kind of culture along with popularization of computer and network,which greatly affects the life of mankind,as in a network-based information society,remarkable changes have taken place in human behavior manner,thinking mode and even social modality.So it is said that information culture pushes forward modernization and social progress.The article illuminates and analyzes information culture and its primary characteristics.
