Abstract: The tablets' sculptures are of significant artistic value.According to archaeological investigations,their layouts are symmetrical based on the divine axis.This paper explicates the aesthetic characteristics and protecting conception of Southern Dynasty's tablets' sculptures via the classification,layout,design and ways of carving of tablet's sculptures.This paper further puts forward the overall protecting notions regarding the devastated state of Southern Dynasty's tablets' sculptures with the purpose of preserving them effectively and bringing their functions into full play.
