历史编纂的文史相生之境

摘要: 如何看待和处理"文""史"关系,决定着历史编纂的全局。它既是一个史学理论问题,也是一个史学实践问题。章学诚作为中国传统史学理论的集大成者,基于对"天地自然之象"和"人心营构之象"的剖判,提出了"文史通义"的历史编纂理念。海登.怀特作为西方后现代史学的代表人物,在激进反思启蒙运动以来的史学观念的基础之上,提出了"文史混一"的历史编纂理念。白寿彝作为史学史学科的开创者之一,基于对中国史学史的哲学思考,提出了以"准确、凝练、生动"为基本内容的历史编纂理念。这些认识,从正反两个方面启发我们在历史编纂问题上,应该树立"文史相生"的理念,走"文史相生"的道路。

Abstract: How to understand and solve the relationship between Language and History decides how to write history.It is a problem of theory,and also a problem of practice in historiography.Zhang Xue-cheng raises the concept of writing history of Language and History Leading to Meaning,and Hyden White makes the concept of Language and History Confusing,and Bai Shou-yi puts forward the concept of Accuracy,Compactness and Liveliness.These views greatly inspire us that we could uphold and carry out the concept of Supplement Each Other between Language and History.
