Abstract:
The combinative methods of interview and questionnaire are adopted to do the research of the dominant needs and the motivating factors of 290 knowledge employees.The result shows:(1)the salary and welfare,the training and learning,the fulfillment of competence,and the promotion are still the important motivating factors for knowledge employees in our country,which line the first 4 in all 20 motivating factors;(2)the motivating factors of knowledge employees accord with 20:80 principle,namely the five most important motivating factors——the salary and welfare,the training and learning,the fulfillment of competence,the promotion,and the foreground of the corporation——account for 80% of all motivating factors,and the rest 15 species of motivating factors occupy only 20% of all motivating factors;(3)along with the increase of annual pay,the degree in which knowledge employee value the salary and welfare is continuously lowering,but recognition of the development of occupation is increasing with the increase of annual pay;(4)the ways in which the knowledge employees with different occupation types value the motivating factor are different;as the occupation type is different,the motivating factors are also different.
