Abstract: Du Li Xue Yuan(Independently-run colleges),colleges financially supported by non-governmental factors and academically and administratively cushioned by famous universities,emerge against the background of higher education reform,and become a new breakthrough in the running mode of higher education.As a result of changing from planned economy to market economy,Du Li Xue Yuan(Independently-run colleges) comes into being inevitably.On the whole,Du Li Xue Yuan(Independently-run colleges) is on a healthy developing way,satisfying requirements about running pilot Du Li Xue Yuan(Independently-run colleges) by Ministry of Education;meanwhile,there are some inevitable problems,difficulties,and conflicts in its developing process,such as definition of property rights,developing policies and environments,school-running orientation,financing,teaching administration etc.It is of great significance for the sustainable and healthy development of Du Li Xue Yuan(Independently-run colleges) to probe into its development and the problems and analyze its development tendency.
