Abstract: During Song Dynasty, the cultural officials had gotten their status evidently changed. These officials were not only well-informed and versatile but also suspicious to ancient culture and innovative. They held holy ideals to assist the society, participated in the politics actively, rectified and reformed the society and even devoted themselves to their nation at stake.Their time spirit put positive and far-reaching influence on the traditional national spirit.
