Abstract: Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping's thought of science and technology, Chinese people have brought order out of chaos,narrowed the gap of science and technology between China and Western world and sped economic development. Deng Xiaoping's thought "invigorating China through science and education" has helped to speed the development of science and technology and laid the theoretical foundation for China's development in the 21st century.
