Abstract: Decision Theatre is a complex of new technologies for assisting policy makers to make group decisions facing with complicated issues. With expert groups constructing mathematic models for complicated issues, it uses computers to carry out visual simulations to present different results caused by different decisions, so as to improve the decision's quality. How to optimize the visual effects presented in Decision Theatre to help decision -makers process the visual information efficiently, becomes a fundamental problem in the research of Decision Theatre. Based on the features of people's visual information processing, another four visual strategies are produced. These strategies above can direct the realization of visual tech to event simulation.
