Abstract: The founding of Teaching Evaluation System not only plays an important role in assuring the education quality in Independent Colleges, but also affects student's status and the orientation of running the school. The setup of the Teaching Evaluation System shows that the school starts to pay attention to student's relative rights and their due status in Independent College's education; at the same time, makes it possible to know student's will, listen to student's appeals and suggestions so that the school will adjust its running orientation and strengthen the aim to serve students. But there still exist many defects in practical handling. Many Independent Colleges lack due acknowledgements towards Teaching Evaluation System; the systematic construction has many deficiencies; the usage of results from Teaching Evaluation System is not yet scientific. Therefore, we should borrow ideas from the Teaching Evaluation System in foreign countries and constantly improve our country's system.
