Abstract:
Is Kant's philosophy compatible with ecofeminism? Ecofeminism, the inheritance and development of feminism, claims to end sexist oppression, while Kant's opinion of enlightenment has gender discrimination; the central topic of ecofeminism is the view that domination of women and domination of nature has important connection and attribute these twin oppressions to dualism, while Kant's
view of human/nature and nature/culture embodies a dualistic thinking. Therefore, Kant's philosophy is incompatible with ecofeminism.
