Abstract: The essence of the circular economy is its ecological nature, which means guiding the economical activity of human society by ecological laws. The development of circular economy is indispensable for the global economic development in the 21st century. This article utilizes the circular economy theory in airport construction layout and operation based on research results of circular economy. Firstly, this article introduces the current research findings of domestic and foreign circular economy, and presents a detailed introduction of the circular economy theory. Then, the paper gives the definition of airport circular economy. Finally, the paper put forward policy proposals in developing airport circular economy based on case studies.
