Abstract:
People-oriented thought is a constitutive part of traditional Confucianism in China. In the Early ancient classic books are recorded thoughts such as "People is the basis of the nation, and only if the basis is solid can the nation keep long" in Shangshu. Mencius, who is honored as the secondary saint of Confucianism, is an integrator of such an idea. He highly claimed ideas of love people", "show solicitude for them", "lead them to farm at proper times", "advise them to seed mulberry"and so forth. "Delight with the people"is treated as the supreme representative of his people-oriented thoughts. Chu Guangxi, nurtured by the thoughts of Confucianism, loved the people unswervingly, and his poems are overflown with strong people-oriented thoughts.
