Abstract: When studying enterprise's ability from the view of ecology, the growing process on base of ability building can be researched from the view of body life. This provides a new way of thinking for the theory and practice of enterprise management. Starting from the definition of basic concepts, the ability was put into the basic range of enterprise management, and a dynamic enterprise developing model was set up. Abilities and relations of them were described through a comprehensive analysis. Briefly, the enterprise resource can be summarized as Human resource, time, capital and technology. Accordingly, the ability that pushes enterprise development is built up by human resource ability, specialization ability, scale ability and Core Expertise ability. The expansion of the four kinds of abilities in dimensionality of procedure, structure, knowledge-power and meaning, can provide the same basis of management philosophy for existing management theories. It can also give guidance to enterprise in management innovation of relative ability building practice.
