Abstract: The paper analyzes the current situation of engineering ethics study abroad, distinguishes two research paradigms, that is, professional ethics which centers on codes of ethics and ethical study which is oriented to engineering practice. The merits and drawbacks of both paradigms are analyzed. Ethical study of engineering practice should be strengthened according to our national situations. The ethical implications of engineering are expounded and analyzed. The practical effects and the realization mechanism of engineering ethics are pointed out.
