Abstract: As a regional literary history， the history of Fujian Province’literature is deeply branded with the imprint of distinctive regional culture. The formation of Fujian literature is influenced by the local static culture and the dynamic foreign culture. The artistic characters of Fujian literary history are reflected in four aspects: the writer of the literature， the object of literary creation， the traces of literary development and evolution， the ideological trend and movements of literature. Fujian literature is constantly isolated while in the process of integration. In integration， the literary tradition of Fujian Province reaches maturity; while in constant isolation， it finally gains a new life， affirms its own significance as a separate discipline.
