科学与艺术的感悟——从设计谈起

Insights of Science and Art—From the Perspective of Design

摘要: 设计作为改变人们现代生活方式的一种重要手段是科学与艺术结合的产物。针对设计科学观和艺术观的争论展开辩证的论述，从设计与科学、艺术的关系进行探讨，提出设计的二元论，即科学与艺术并存于设计内，科学是设计的“白箱”方法，艺术是设计的“黑箱”方法。以往单一的艺术创作的方法已经无法满足设计持续发展和现代人对设计的双重需要，科学的发展与进步是设计新的动力和解决发展问题的方法。

Abstract: Design is the result of the integration of science and art to change people’s way of life in modern world. Aiming at the disputes between the scientific and artistic view of design, the paper starts with a dialectical discussion from the relationship between design, science and art to explore the proposed dualism, namely, the coexistence of science and art in design, with science as its “white box” approach and art as its “black box” approach. The single method of artistic creation has been proven to be unable to meet the sustainable development of design and people’s needs for it. The progress of science is a new impetus for design in solving developmental problems.
