Abstract: Defense R&D plays a great role to the development of our technology. It has been the focus of scholars and government toevaluate the defense R&D spillovers effects on economic growth. Theoretical model research results show that the defense R&D hasthe crowd-out effects and there exists an economic growth-maximizing proportion of defense R&D and GDP.
