Abstract: Rebellion of Guancai is a significant historical event in early Western Zhou Dynasty., for whose causes there are different explanations. However, the basic cause for this incident can be attributed to the chaotic system. This event occurred in the contexts of the transformation from the concept of the “Unity of people and God” to that of “Separation of people and God”. At that time, the search for metaphysical certainty becomes self-conscious. Zhou Gong's suppression of this rebellion also inevitably reflects conceptual changes.
