Abstract: In recent years,the effects of knowledge spillovers on the development of regional economy and state economy have been focal points in the research area of technical innovation and regional economy in China and abroad. However,the measuring of knowledge spillovers is difficult in the field of study while the right choice of model is vital to application and operability of the empirical research. Starting from the connotation of knowledge spillovers, this paper summarizes the measure estimation models on knowledge spillovers,which are TPF,TFP,EBA,cost function approach, technology flow approach and document tracing tracing method. Those models' focuses,applicable conditions,merits and faults are discussed fully. Through the summarization and comparison of those models, the paper provides references and great aid for the empirical research on knowledge spillovers.
