Abstract:
Fraser’s theory of justice is a new explanation to the concept of justice. In her view, justice is one dimension in norms, that is participatory equality; justice is three-dimension in perspective, i.e., economic redistribution, cultural recognition and political representation respectively; this three-dimension demands of justice, must subordinate to the meta-norms of justice. Fraser’s “one norm three dimensions” concept of justice reflects the latest development trend of contemporary western political philosophy. The research of Fraser’s theory system, especially the revelation of its counterpart in China from the perspective of “redistribution, recognition, representation”, can provide valuable thought resources for the construction of social justice in contemporary China.
