中国航空公司共同效率、组群效率与技术落差——基于Meta-Frontier和SBM-DEA的分析

    The Meta-frontier Efficiency,Group Efficiency and Technical Gap of China’s Airlines—Based on Meta-frontier and SBM-DEA

    • 摘要: 基于SBM模型并结合共同边界技术,对中国16家航空公司2008—2010年的全要素生产率及共同效率、组群效率、技术落差进行实证分析。结果显示:三大航空集团效率不断提升,但技术水准与效率前沿相距较远;民营航空公司在组织模式、管理运营方面优于地方航空公司和三大航空集团,但效率提升十分缓慢;地方航空公司虽然接近技术前沿,但需提高自身的管理水平。技术进步成为中国航空公司生产效率提升的主要来源,而员工和运力投入过剩则成为无效率的主要来源。精简投入、减少冗余,成为中国航空公司提升效率的主攻方向。

       

      Abstract: The TFP, meta-frontier efficiency, group efficiency and technical gap of 16 China's airlines during 2008—2010 are analyzed. The results show that technical progress is becoming the main source of efficiency improvement. The efficiency of three big airlines is going up fast, while that of private airlines is improving slowly. The private airlines have advantages in organization and management which represent the technical frontier, while the local airlines need to improve their management. The technical level of the big-three airlines, however, is far from the frontier. The main sources of airlines inefficiency are overstaffing and over-capacity. Reducing the slack is becoming the main measure of improving airlines' efficiency.
